Massive Spiritual Breakthrough in Ukraine Today: Call to Prayer!
Until this epic day in history, the United States was the only country in the world with a National Day of Prayer. Now, there are two! And all the world rejoices! May this continue to trickle to other nations and may we see an outpouring of blessing and revival among the nations!
The Backstory and Global Stage
I was just at the 222 Conference where I received divine insight in how to pray globally at this crucial hour.
Fred Market set the stage for the mission critical importance of the next 18 months to either enter into revival or world war.
David Kim shared the prophecy that if these 3 things happen, then a WW3 is inevitable:
- Russia invades Ukraine (This has now happened.)
- Iran attacks Israel (This has now happened.)
- Chinese invades Taiwan. (This has not happened and we need to get wind of David Kim’s mission and support him and his team in prayer to bring revival to Taiwan, the only Chinese speaking country free to speak the gospel. Dutch missionaries prophesied that Taiwan would be a gospel center for Asia! It’s time!)
Call to Prayer for Ukraine
In 2022, Cindy Jacobs sent out an urgent call to prayer for Ukraine, that the war was not inevitable if there’s an intercessor fasting and praying for every kilometer of Ukraine. We put up Ukraine flags and bumper stickers but did we fast and pray? I don’t guess so as the war began.
A Second Chance Mercy for Ukraine
But God in His mercy issued another prophecy, another chance. Matt Lockett of Justice House of Prayer in DC shared with us a behind the scenes peek into what the God of the Ages is doing in our day! The following are a kind of summary of what Lockett shared at the 222 Conference:
In the midst of a war torn state, Cindy Jacobs issued a word that if Ukraine will host a National Day of Prayer, God will deal with Russia.
(Remember this… Our warfare is not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities. Locket said, “Maybe he’ll deal in judgement, maybe in revival and prayer.” Who knows, but that’s not for us to decide.)
WITHOUT any awareness of this prophecy yet, Matt Lockett, a leader in the Justice House of Prayer DC, and a team representing the National Day of Prayer Task Force went to Ukraine this year, seeking their leaders to establish a Ukrainian National Day of Prayer. Here’s the article about their trip to Ukraine.
Unanimous Yes on the Table, the Lord’s Too!
God says if this country will pray in unity, I will heal their land and save them.
On February 12, 2025, with a vote of 255 to 0, Ukraine passed the vote to establish a National Day of Prayer.
That very same day, February 12, 2025, Trump called Putin and said, “Let’s end this war in Ukraine.” See an article on this here: “After Putin call, Trump says negotiations to end Ukraine war will start ‘immediately’”
Ukraine put ALL their yeses on the table, and we see God’s yes that very day! We know the Lord God of Hope and His yes is always on the table and we pray His promises and prophecies through.
God’s Redemptive Timing
Three years ago today, February 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine.
Today, February 24, 2025, Ukraine hosts it’s first ever National Day of Prayer.
This day was chosen as a redemption of the day the war began!
United Prayers for Ukraine
Lockett goes on to say:
“The church needs to gird up Ukraine in prayer! NATO couldn’t fix it! All that money couldn’t fix it! So God says, “Let’s release a prophetic word that if this country will pray, I will save them! This is so we can get caught up into the prophetic swirl that God’s creating, and we just come into agreement with it!”
May the church in Ukraine rise up in unified prayer! May the nations (you and I) come along side Ukraine and unite in prayer for healing and revival of their land, strengthening of their borders, and their freedom to preach the gospel freely.
Let’s join in Lockett’s simple and powerful prayer:
“Lord, release something from heaven that shakes the machine of war, that shakes Russia. End the war in Ukraine. Bless this country!”
Let’s Join with the Ukrainian’s Prayers:
Here’s an article with some of the prayers going up in Ukraine today. Below is an excerpt from one of these prayers. Join with them and be blessed!
Excerpt from a prayer by the Revd Erika Margitics, Minister of the Reformed Congregation in Beregszász (Berehove):
Our Almighty Loving Lord,
We praise you that your protecting hand over us hasn’t yet become weary! It is so wonderful to know that you are greater than war, greater than our thoughts, greater than our own limitations.
We thank you for the peace you will surely give one day. And for the peace you already grant us, even under circumstances which don’t offer reasons for hope.
We pray for true peace for the whole country. We pray for those who pray with us. And we pray also for those who do not keep us in their prayers.
Lord, teach us to love. To love as you love. To love truly, even if it is hard in this time of war. For it is this love that liberates us to be truly grateful. This act of love has given, gives and continues to give hope and a future in all circumstances.
Amen.
And finally, let’s join in our own prayers for Ukraine:
Gracious Father,
Thank you for this country that choose not to respond in bitterness but in hope. Choosing not to put their trust in horses and chariots but in YOU, Lord God Almighty, and your gracious mighty outstretched hands.
We thank you that you have promised to protect this country if they unite in prayer, so we hold you to your word. We bless you for your word! We thank you for your promises!
Pour our peace like a river over Ukraine. Bind the broken hearted. Set the captives free! Keep paths of freedom to share your gospel open. May your truth and grace and strength and hope flood out of Ukraine to the nations like a balm of Gilead. May the redemption you will do there flow towards the nations.
Reestablish a new order of hope! Reestablish a new order of peace! We take down our own gavels towards Russia and we forgive and we ask that you deal with them as you promised, however that make look. May the people of Russia know your mercy and love and compassion. May the people of Ukraine know your mercy and love and compassion.
You eagerly watch your word to perform it. So Lord, we ask knowing it’s your heart… Bind the broken hearted and set the captives free!
In Jesus’ Mighty and Powerful Name,
Amen
Let’s have a holy imagination of how this breakthrough could transform the nations and the freedom to advance the gospel. May the stronghold of communism be broken and set people free to hear of and know and love the Lord Jesus!
Please share this with your praying friends and let’s contend for kingdom purposes in Ukraine and all who share it’s borders!

May Peace Himself hold you & hold you together. Toodles!
